With their families, join us to celebrate the union of
John and I met back in eighth grade. From high school sweethearts through college, our love has grown in every season of life.
We hope everyone feels comfortable, confident, and truly enjoys themselves on our special day. As you plan your outfit, please keep in mind that our celebration takes place at the start of summer in Texas, and warm temperatures are to be expected. While most of the event will be held indoors, we encourage light, breathable fabrics suitable for the season—and feel free to embrace a touch of Southern charm in your attire.
Please avoid wearing bold floral prints or large graphic patterns; solid colors or subtle prints work best.
For a bit of inspiration, please see the examples below.
Ladies: Semi-long to long dresses in summer colors
Light, breathable fabrics suited for warm weather
Cowboy boots or dressy footwear are both warmly welcomed to complement the rustic charm
Gentlemen: Suit jackets or nice button-up shirts paired with dress slacks
Boots or dress shoes encouraged to embrace the Southern spirit
Light fabrics such as linen or cotton recommended for comfort in the summer warmth
